Background

Dr. Todd Evans was born in Kadoka, South Dakota, and raised in Colorado, Kentucky, and Illinois. He is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Murray State University in Kentucky and his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1991. He completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City in 2001.

From 1992 to 2005, Dr. Evans served as an active-duty officer in the United States Navy, with duty stations in Groton, Connecticut; Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; Naples, Italy; and Camp Doha, Kuwait, during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Throughout his career, Dr. Evans has devoted himself to all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with special interests in implants, orthognathic surgery, preprosthetic surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, trauma, and facial cosmetic procedures. He consistently exceeds the continuing education requirements of Texas to remain current with the latest advancements in his specialty.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Evans enjoys playing tennis, spending time with his wife and children, and working on his small farm. Dr. Evans covers our Temple Office.

The surgical staff at CTX Oral Surgery and Dental Implants are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in the administration of IV sedation and surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified.
